Duties: Jr/Sr High Principal (Gr.7-12). Provides leadership of educational and operational activities of the school; recruits, supervises, and evaluates faculty and staff; manages the use of school facilities and grounds to ensure a clean orderly and safe learning environment; embraces and accepts accountability for implementation of the district's mission; builds a climate of mutual respect and teamwork, and encourages professional development of staff.
Qualifications: Successful educational leadership and classroom teaching experiences; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with staff, students and parents; effective use of communication techniques to collaborate and plan with faculty and staff; knowledgeable and supportive of the entire range of secondary /junior high programs, services, scheduling, and assessments; and a commitment to academic excellence.
